Ooooh the summer nights
Well killing the Giants week is still in full effect. People have been going out sharing left and right...I just finished a full straight 5 days of work, 8 hour shifts each day and tomorrow I finally get a day off Yesssssss. While I love making some extra money and my job is wonderful, a girl needs a break every now and again!So last night we had a free night and one of the girls rooms here decided we were in desperate need of a good old fashion girls night in! So of course I was thrilled and on board. So we all threw on our comfiest of clothes and all gathered in one of the living rooms around a laptop computer and watched A Walk to Remember while eating Ice cream and of course having a little "girl talk" throughout the evening. It was fabulous! I love times to just hangout and build our girl community here on project.
Tomorrow is a HUGE outreach day for us. Its our last day of killing the giants week and the beach is going to be insanely crazy with it being the 4th of july weekend. I'm excited about conversations that will continue to be had throughout these next two days. This week has stretched me in my faith so much and while its been hard at times, the Joy far out weighs the strife. I'm headed out to the beach for the first time in days! I'm super excited! Its almost the end of week 3 here, how crazy is that! Corrie and Kim's staff's on project are departing this week and mine in 2 more weeks, things will really start to get fun then! Oh mandi, how I miss girls nights with you! I'm so glad to hear you are killing those giants, i cannot wait to hear more about your conversations and such, i've been thinking about you a lot lately! hope you have a wonderful day of outreach tomorrow and a happy fourth of july!:)
Sweet Linds, I cant wait to have girls night with you and Kimmmy again!!! Happy 4 th of july to as well! We are doing fireworks and watching them here on the beach of course, I'm hoping we can see some good ones from here! I miss you tons! oh and PS, I got to talk to 4 more girls today during our outreach and it was SO good! Lets talk again Soon!
