you better watch out, you better not cry :-)
Back in Dallas with the Fam and I'm so happy to be here with all of the family for the holidays. My mom is thrilled to have all 4 of her kids home and together for Christmas. I've decided not to let myself get stressed this time around. While having a split family and lots of extended family to see in such a crunched amount of time is undeniably a stressful situation always, I am going to try and just enjoy it more rather than trying to please everyone. I saw one side of the family for a christmas party the other night. I took my litte brother and sister shopping in all of the crazy maddness yesterday, I'm a very brave soul it was aweful out there at the stores! We've already watched a handful of classic christmas movies, and my brother and I got to watch my MAVS play and win last night! Its the first game I've got to actually watch on tv all season!Things I love most about being home: Being able to hug my mom a lot!, our Christmas Tree, my mom cooking for me, the cold nights and looking at all of the stars out here at my parents house in the country, being close to lots of family, getting to see Kim,Katie, and Abby in a few days!, all the familiar hwys and roads, Having long talks with my mom about nothing an everything.
Things I miss about San Marcos already: my bed, my roomates, the Garcias, the christmas lights at night where sights and sounds was, all the trees around the windows of my apartment, kim, linds, nik; Mochas and Javas, which I recently reunited with close to the end of the semester after taking some time away ;-)
Blessings to you and yours, A
