Beaches, Bonfires, and Beautiful Sunsets

While this experience here on project so far has been nothing short of AMAZING, there are some things going on around here that can get hard at times. We have 3 more weeks here and only 2 more weeks with everyone together, but understandably after being here day in and day out with 60 people for 7 weeks straight, people are bound to get on each other's nerves and start to become frustrated with each other at times. Also, I think that some are realizing we are leaving soon and thinking that if they just begin to detatch themselves from people here now, that will somehow make leaving here not as hard. I completely disagree with this theory, I know that I have made some friendships that will last far beyond this place and this project and i also realize that many of these people I will honestly never see again. Either way I have no regrets about any relationships I built here at all and I dont want to pull away here towards the end, if anything I think we should cling to each other and enjoy each others company in these last weeks more than ever before beause we dont know for sure when we will meet again. I just feel like a lot of people here need to be given a new refreshing perspective on how amazing and precious these last few weeks can be if we let them!

Today we had day of outreach as usual for sundays here. I had a good time sharing with a couple of the girls here and we all got to share sort of our testimonies and get to know each other little deeper so that was great fun! Then I went and had din din with my sweet Jen Chen, my new Asian friend who goes to shool in Utah, also in my Ation group and my roomate......well so we went and grabbed some dinner and then headed out to the weekly Bonfire on the Beach were there was, SMORES! MMMM so good.....we had a good little talk about Prayer, our new week's theme being Prayer, and some worship songs, perfection!

God's totally still revealing himself to me in such real ways all the time here. I'm excited to learn about Jesus's heart for prayer this week and to stretch myself in my prayer life! I heard a rumor that we get to have 2 dates with Jesus this week and I got so giddy! I an't wait I've been searching out the perfet place for me to take Jesus to dinner on those night, somewhere nice! =) Miss yall!, A
