This is the Story of a Seal

Today being my day off, and absolutely no one around here having the day off with me, I decided to borrow my good friend Zach's bike and ride down to the Wedge and have some time with God. So i'm journaling and reading a little and listening to music a bit and all of the sudden I see something coming up and going back into the water with in front of the rocks and bench where I was sitting and then I hear the woman on the bench near by say " Oh my goodness, Look its a Seal!" And sure enough there she was Sally the Seal. Sally was content living in the ocean but being the Beautiful sunny California day that it is she just wanted to layout of the water and get some sun! So as she got closer and closer to where I was sitting, she slowly made her way over to the closest dock at this huge multimillion dollar estate right near the wedge. She uses all of her power and might and body weight to throw herself upon this deck. I watched her roll around on this deck, looking so Happy to be up there out of the water and finally into the sun. She tossed and turned and clapped her fins together, for she had never been so happy to just bask in the warm beauty that the Lord has given her to enjoy. I stayed there for a while watching her, and it brought amazing joy to my heart as well, she was so cute and so big and I have never seen anything like her in person ever before.

I imagine that after Sally was done napping and rolling around in the Sun, that her mate Sampson soon came searching after her, for he just was not a complete Seal without the Love of his life Sally at his side. I imagine that he came and rescued her and then they swam off together fin in fin, into the sunset and lived happily ever after!

Ok so the first half is totally true and was amazing, and the second part is mere speculation, but I have high hopes for Sally the Seal and her finding the Love of her life Sampson out there somewhere! Of course this was the perfect day for me to NOT bring my camera with me! I was so mad at myself! But I will never forget Sally the Seal and the gift that the was today from God to me!

I'm headed to the Beach to get some sun. The Traveling Team is coming to talk to us tonight, the same group that came to Texas State this past semester. Should be good, and then we are all going out to this place to do Kareoke tonight! So excited! Blessings, A
