Some pics
Here is the Pacific Ocean, and a very large wave approaching the shore. We dont see too many big waves here and not a lot of surfing, but over at Huntington Beach the waves are Ginormous!! and they have big surfing competitions and stuff there.
This is a picture of our view from the Wedge on the fourth of July. If you are a faithful watcher of the television show The OC, you will recognize this from the opening credits of each show, I got pretty eacited about that. The houses all along the coast there are Phenominal!
This is a pic of all the Ladies here on project! We are standing on the stairs here at our apartments, I'm on the rightside, middleish. This was the night we were told to all get dressed up and had no idea where we were going, but ended up at Chuck E. Cheese for the evening. Such a fun night!
This is the view from our back yard! You have to walk out a litte ways to get to the actually ocean, but its pretty amazing to walk out to that everyday!
MMMM California Sunsets are the best, I'm convinced! Thats one of the things I will miss most about this place! So yesterday was my day off and my roomate Liz lent me her car for the day. So two other girls here Meagan and Annie and I took off in search of the Rainbow outlet, Rainbow flipflops, they sell them SO cheap here and everyone wheres them, just like everyone in Texas wheres Reefs, So of course I have to get a pair while I am here. Anywho, so we think we have directions of highways to take and such, because none of is from California or had any clue where we were going, and I was driving for the first time in 5 weeks, and for the first time in California, scary, I know. So we are driving one direction on the 405 highway and realize we are about to hit the 101 which meant that we were about 10 minutes from L.A.! about an hour opposite the direction we were tryin to go to get to San Clemente where the outlet is. So we still had about 3-4 hours to kill and we starving, so we decided to be spontaneous and though we didnt plan it, we spent the day in LA, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood!!!!! We drove up and down Sunset Blvd., Rodeo Drive, and took lots of pictures and we being so Touristy! I could not believe I was driving around LA! It was so fun and i really got to know these girls, which i had not really had good conversations or gotten to know these two ladies very well yet. It was a day I will never forget.

Amanda,
Sweet action pics. They'd probably be a bit sweeter if I watched the OC, but I did see one episode where the blonde guy was brooding. I liked his style. A lot. I'm glad you're having a great time and am happy to read your blogs. See ya soon gurl.
Michael
