Spring Break in a nutshell...
This is the Hotel Montage in Laguna Beach that we stayed at! It was a fabulous 5 star experience that may have been once in a lifetime for me. hahaha Down below is the sun coming up over the hills and the ocean in Laguna Beach. I woke up very early there every morning and grabbed some coffee from the lobby and headed out to walk along the coast. It was Breathtaking and also Extremely Chilly :-)
That is my cousin Retta, age 6, and shes adorable! We had a fabulous couple of days together on this trip! And next to her is of course another beach scenery shot on one of my morning walks there. I was just in awe of the beauty surrounding me in that place.

Jennifer Bachelorette/Lingerie Party. We ate dinner at Joes Crab Shack and then stayed at a bed and breakfast in Kemah right near the Ocean. It was great girlie time :-)
Me and Retta on the Tea Cups at Disneyland! I havent ridden any rides like all the ones I had to ride with her since I was about 7 years old, so it was a lot of fun.
All the Texas State girlies who attended the wedding, giving a toast to the bride!
Me and the Beautiful Bride Mrs. Jennifer Knox Schrott. I had a blast getting to spend her whole wedding weekend with her. She looked amazing and the wedding was so beautiful and so fun, and I of course cried. hahaha:-)
My sweet and wonderful Aunt Dana and my six year old cousin Retta and I spent a wonderful few days in Laguna Beach California. It was Beautifully sunny all the days we were there, but very chilly, highs in 60-65, lows 40-35.....We had a fun time and I hardly ever get to spend time with them so it was very nice! Spring Break '06 proved to be one of the best and most exciting yet!

Spring Break 06!
So, about 100 college students from Texas State, and about 3000 students total from all over the US will be heading to New Orleans this weekend for Katrina Relief. Its just truly amazing to me that this many students are willing to give up a spring break to serve the Lord and help out with the tragedy that occured many months ago, its pretty amazing and humbling to see that. I really wish I was going, I think it would be a truly changing and selfless experience for me that I would get so much from.I however have had set plans for quite a few months now and I'm heading back to Dallas today, and Sunday flying out with my Aunt Dana and cousin Retta to Laguna Beach California! Back to the OC for the first time since my summer there. I can't wait to go back to Newport Beach at the Balboa Pier, back to where I encountered the Lord in such a very real way and was truly changed forever this past summer. I'll fly back to Dallas Wednesday night and pack up again to drive to Houston Thursday for Jennifer Knox's Long awaited Wedding Weekend! We are going to a bed and breakfast on thurs night for her bachelorette party, then back friday for rehearsal dinner, then Saturday is the wedding! It's my first College Friend to get married and I'm Thrilled to get to be a part of it all!
I will certainly miss lots of people this week and will be praying for my girls as we all go our separate ways and for my roomie Corrie, Gracie, Mar and everyone going to Louisianna this week! :-) Happy Spring Break All! Love Yall!

Spring Fever
Wow, I have been so unfaithful about updating this thing! Life has been happening, and a lot of it. But, the lovely Kari Kennedy has ever so gently called me out on NOT updating my blog, so here goes....It's now March 1st already which means a couple of things: 1-Spring Break is just around the corner and this spring semester is half over! 2-Its getting warmer, which means pretty days, springy clothes, and alot of being out by the river! 3-Spring Fever, which means guys getting gutsy and asking their latest crushes out on dates, for others it mean their singleness is felt on display, and their feelings of longings for dates and affection are even more intensified and yet unfullfilled, And for those few who are already in fully commited relationships they are loving each beautiful day that they are blessed even more by spending these lovely spring days together.
In other news: I'm thoroughly excited about Pride and Prejudice coming out on Dvd and cannot wait to purchas it; Mavs are playing the Spurs tomm night, GO MAVS; I bought grey's anatomy season 1 and i've now got corrie hooked; I've discovered that I LOVE meeting with girls and talking with them about Jesus :-); & This weekend should be interesting to say the least!
